Alpe D'Huez - Mont Ventoux Cycle Challenge 2017

bbyz imageSte Pritchard, CEO at Matrix247, with support from top Lancashire Race Team Chronomaster, has organised a challenging charity cycle event which will see a group of 40 courageous cyclist's cycle 570 miles and tackle 63,000ft altitude across the French Alps to raise money for two worthy charities; Blackburn Youth Zone and Rosemere Cancer Foundation. 

Prior to the event, riders will receive tailored cycle training programs incorporating core-body conditioning and nutrition advice, devised specifically for this challenge by Team GB coaches at the Velodrome along with 1-2-1 mentoring from top Lancashire Race Team Chronomaster. There are regular team rides to help training progress. Receive equipment advice and support with heavy discounts at cycle stores. Also provides the chance to make long-lasting friendships with new cycling pals from businesses across Lancashire over the year of training, before setting out on the challenge united. 

The journey will see them cycle through 5 Cols of the Alps to Grenoble, then onward to the infamous Alpe D'Huez and after a further 7 Cols, reach the Giant of Provence Mont Ventoux, before the most stunning cycle through Gorges De La Nesque.
