Promethean sized up the problem and came up with a solution. The Activpanel with Px software.
A 15 inch LCD mini board that plugs straight into your PC... but is designed to sit easily on a lecturn or small table... write on the screen surface with our electronic mouse pen... and access the same Px software.
The panel displays exactly what's on your PC screen. And (as long as you're plugged into a projector) exactly what your audience can see behind you. You and they get a razor sharp image that you can project up to virtually any size you want.

That's because whichever interactive system you use (board, panel or pad), you get our unique battery-free, wire-free mouse pen to operate it.
In fact, feedback tells us that companies are using our pen-operated systems to bridge the gap between paper and information technology, especially with older members of their workforce.
It writes just like a pen when used with Px software. And it acts just like a mouse to control your desktop all of the time.
It even has a right-mouse click for additional functionality (just like a mouse) - including on-screen guidance when you're learning your way around.
A cursor means you always know where on the screen you are - even when the pen's not touching it.
So going interactive is much, much easier than you think.
Interactive Flat Panel Overlay

Have you ever wondered how you can bring interactivity to your existing large screen displays? Well Promethean has the answer. Transform your large format screen into an interactive display area by adding a Promethean interactive flat panel overlay.
Sounds complicated? Well it’s not. It’s really easy to install, their overlays can be simply (and discretely) put into place. You can be up and running sooner than you think.
So how does it work? Thanks to optical image sensing technology you can take control of your computer by simply touching the screen (using your finger or a stylus – your choice). It’s highly accurate too, and the image on your screen maintains its bright, high contrast picture, with no loss in image quality.
Ultra scratch resistant it’s suitable for all kinds of environments – presentations, lessons, training courses, briefings, or any other application where you want to make your screen interactive.
You’ll be pleased to know that it’s compatible with most 42” and 50” plasma screens, and its slim fit design is in keeping with the existing design of your screen – you’ll hardly notice it’s there.
